DESCRIPTION:Hydrogen electrolyzers contain many strategic and sometimes critical raw materials. With the market ramp-up of a green hydrogen economy\, a sustainable solution for managing the parts\, components\, and raw materials used in the sense of a circular economy needs to be developed simultaneously. Different prerequisites\, objectives\, and needs require a joint dialogue to implement circular strategies successfully. For example\, access to information from all value chain areas is necessary for reuse\, repair\, and recycling. Information management is crucial in digital transformation and can pave the way for the circular economy. Digital solutions for information management\, such as product passports\, life cycle files\, or Industry 4.0 approaches\, are being developed specifically for this purpose and will be introduced in the future. But what information or content is relevant for information management to implement circular strategies for hydrogen electrolyzers?

Pumps use 10% of the world’s electricity\, and Europump has been working on energy efficiency since the very early 2000s\, in collaboration with standardization and the European Commission\, leading to the first Ecodesign Regulation in 2009 and energy savings of tens of TWh/year in Europe. Today\, we wish to anticipate the coming revolution with the DPP\, whether motivated by future regulatory requirements or market demands. EUROPUMP would like to address this topic at its annual congress\, which brings together both experts working in the commissions and business leaders.

SUMMARY:Innføring av digitalt produktpass/Implementation of DPP\, intro to CIRPASS-2
DESCRIPTION:Digital product passports are entering the textile industry at full speed. The EU sets the framework for what information must be digitally available throughout the product’s life cycle. To gain insight\, the EU is funding the Cirpass 2 project starting in May 24\, which is about exploring the function of services linked to the use phase\, such as resale\, repair and recycling. The Norwegian technology company Kezzler leads one of the work packages in the project. Here\, together with Holzweiler\, among others\, they will test how product data and traceability will work in practice in the circular circuit.
