Digital product passports are entering the textile industry at full speed. The EU sets the framework for what information must be digitally available throughout the product’s life cycle. To gain insight, the EU is funding the Cirpass 2 project starting in May 24, which is about exploring the function of services linked to the use phase, such as resale, repair and recycling. The Norwegian technology company Kezzler leads one of the work packages in the project. Here, together with Holzweiler, among others, they will test how product data and traceability will work in practice in the circular circuit.
