On 19–20 May 2026, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will host the REuse Economy Expo, a key event for industry leaders building an ambitious, sustainable and resilient circular economy. This year, in addition to packaging, electrical and electronic equipment, and furniture, the event broadens its scope to include the textile and construction sectors, unified by a central question: how can reuse be scaled effectively across all industries? With over 500 solutions showcased, 30 roundtables and keynotes, 50 hands-on masterclasses, and a dedicated networking evening, the event will explore concrete levers for reuse, repair, refurbishment, and remanufacturing.
Highlighting the role of Digital Product Passports in the circular economy, the EU-funded CIRPASS-2 project will host a dedicated DPP Village bringing together DPP solution providers from the DPP network, designed to foster connections, networking, and knowledge exchange. The project will also contribute to the programme with a roundtable and a series of masterclasses – short, hands-on formats designed to deepen key topics and showcase existing DPP solutions. These include two sessions led by consortium partners, alongside additional masterclasses delivered by members of the CIRPASS-2 Expert Working Groups and wider community.
Join the CIRPASS-2 Roundtable: From Regulatory Compliance to Market Transformation: Perspectives from Key Stakeholders – 19 May 2026.
This roundtable, moderated by CIRPASS-2 Project Coordinator Carolynn Bernier (CEA), will bring together experts, Steffen Schwalm (msg group), Marion Rouzeaud (DiPPa), Xavier Lantoinette (ecosystem), and Holger Berg (Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy), to examine the Digital Product Passport (DPP) from multiple perspectives, including innovation and industry, consumers, producer responsibility organisations, public authorities, and global value chains. The discussion will focus on the role of data, trust, governance, and competitiveness, and on how the DPP can move beyond compliance to support circular economy outcomes.
Join CIRPASS-2 at Masterclass: From Compliance to Value Creation with DPP – 19 May 2026.
Kamila Kocia from CIRPASS-2 partner Avery Dennison will join Laurent Ovaert (GoodsTag) and Elise Lecocq (Emidat) to discuss how Digital Product Passports (DPPs) can move beyond compliance to drive business transformation in the apparel industry. In her presentation, “Beyond compliance: Unlocking business value with DPPs,” she will draw on the experience within the CIRPASS-2 Textiles Loop pilot to explore how DPPs, combined with broader digitalisation, can unlock value across the entire product lifecycle.
Key discussion points will include:
- How DPPs can connect physical products with digital ecosystems, enabling transparency, traceability, and real-time insights.
- Ways in which brands can leverage DPP data to build consumer trust, drive engagement, and deliver personalized digital experiences.
- How digitalization and product-level data can support circularity at scale, including repair, resale, and recycling models.
Join CIRPASS-2 at Masterclass: Design, transparency and traceability with DPP – 20 May 2026.
In this masterclass, Stefan Larsson from CIRPASS-2 partner whatt.io will join Claudia Ojeda (AURA Consortium) to present “Designing Circular Products from Day One: How Infinite Acoustics Built the DPP into the Product.” The session will explore how Infinite Acoustics uses the Digital Product Passport as a digital twin across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design to use, repair, and end-of-life, embedding circularity from the outset. It will also highlight how CIRPASS-2 provides a testbed for next-generation DPP tools, including DPP Validator, DPP Playground, DPP Explorer, and Cradle Tools for Autodesk Fusion.
