A UNTP (UN Transparency Protocol) extension profile expressing EU Digital Product Passport requirements as JSON-LD contexts and W3C Verifiable Credential schemas. Twelve product categories — battery, textile, electronics, construction, iron & steel, chemicals, packaging, furniture, tyres, jewellery, toys, FMCG — plug into UNTP’s credentialSubject.characteristics extension point, contributing regulatory depth while UNTP keeps the credential, proof and interoperability.
868 properties, 90% citing the EU instrument or standard that defines the concept with a link to its EUR-Lex record; 222 carry a verified QUDT unit IRI. Where an established vocabulary already owns a concept it is reused rather than re-coined — GS1 for GTIN and batch identifiers, UN/CEFACT for economic operators and facilities, QUDT for units, CAS for substances. Terms with no existing owner are coined under a namespace that resolves: every tracepass: IRI returns a SKOS concept with a definition and a named owner. Each category ships a hand-authored worked example that validates against its schema. Extends UNTP DPP v0.7.0 by URI reference only — no UNTP artefact is vendored, keeping the Apache-2.0 licence clean against UNTP’s GPL-3.0 spec repository.
