A component that performs DID resolution — retrieving a DID Document from a decentralized identifier — to obtain the verification material needed to authenticate identities and credentials.

Universal Resolver

The Universal Resolver resolves Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) across many different DID methods, based on the W3C DID Core 1.0 and DID Resolution specifications. It is a work item of the DIF Identifiers&Discovery Working Group.

didkit

DIDKit provides Verifiable Credential and Decentralized Identifier functionality across different platforms. It was written primarily in Rust due to Rust’s expressive type system, memory safety, simple dependency web, and suitability across different platforms including embedded systems. DIDKit embeds the ssi library, which contains the core functionality.
