EUROPUMP is the European pump industry association. Pumps use 10% of the world’s electricity, and Europump has been working on energy efficiency since the very early 2000s, in collaboration with standardization and the European Commission, leading to the first Ecodesign Regulation in 2009 and energy savings of tens of TWh/year in Europe. Today, we wish to anticipate the coming revolution with the DPP, whether motivated by future regulatory requirements or market demands. EUROPUMP would like to address this topic at its annual congress, which brings together both experts working in the commissions and business leaders.
