With the emergence of supply chain due diligence regulation in large consuming economies such as the E.U. and U.S.A, importers are under increasing pressure to provide verifiable data about the sustainability of their entire supply chains, not just the end products. There are many supply chain traceability & transparency solutions on the marketplace. Many expect all actors in a supply chain to subscribe to the same platform to collect the data for end-to-end traceability. However, this model is not feasible or scalable.
This session will discuss the ongoing development of the UN Transparency Protocol, which can be supported by existing business systems and extended to meet any industry requirement, enabling broad adoption and scaling by any supply chain actor. Speakers will explore how extensions of the UNTP are being developed for Critical Raw Material, Textile, and Agriculture supply chains through an iterative process with Pilot implementers, from all stages of the supply chain.
