Open DPP Packager by Minespider is an Apache-2.0 TypeScript library and CLI for packaging Digital Product Passport records into portable, inspectable ZIP files. It defines a versioned manifest, structured passport documents, relationship and event files, packaged resources, SHA-256 integrity metadata, JSON schemas, examples, and a safe reader/validator that checks package structure, file references, archive safety, and hashes without extracting files to disk. The project includes a BatteryPass-Ready EU Battery Passport profile based on pinned upstream schemas, while keeping the core package format provider-neutral. It does not provide storage or hosting, certify legal compliance, or verify the truth of passport claims. Its purpose is to make DPP handoff packages readable and checkable outside the system that created them.
