Pilot Description
The pilot will develop a cloud-based tool for creating Digital Product Passports (DPPs) tailored to textile SMEs, starting with down-feather bedding products. SMEs will organise and upload DPP information, generate DPPs, and label products with QR codes. These products will undergo tests to improve circularity with recyclers in the pilot and broader ecosystems. Data will be collected on SME challenges and costs, consumer acceptance, and the impact on recycling costs. The pilot will produce recommendations for stakeholders on addressing SME challenges and costs while ensuring circularity goals.
